DESCRIPTION:October is National Bullying Prevention Month\n  \nTopic: Bullying Prevention \nDate:   Oct 25\, 2023 \nTime:  Noon-1:30pm \nSpeaker:  Brian Carter \nDescription:  This presentation will introduce basic concepts and definitions around Bullying behaviors. It will address the different forms of bullying\, prevention methods\, as well as policies and laws in Indiana around bullying. \nTraining Time: 1.5 Hours \nAudience: This training is appropriate for older youth\, parents\, community members\, educators\, and professionals who work with children. \nWARNING:  If you are attending this virtual training at home\, please be sure to either use headphones or be alone while attending. Some information may not be suitable for younger children. \nIMPORTANT:  A Pre-Training Assessment Link will be emailed to you prior to the training.  Please complete this Pre-Training Assessment before the training.  After the training you will receive an email with the Post-Training Assessment.  Once you complete your Post-Training Assessment our office will email you the Training Certificate within 48 business hours. \nJust a reminder that if you register as a couple or a group\, each person will need to complete an Assessment/Survey to qualify for a Training Certificate. \nWhen registering\, be sure to type in your email address accurately because that is how you will receive the Link for the TEAMS online training – Look for email from The Villages. \nRegistration Link: Bullying Prevention Training Link \n
