Who We Are:

Prevent Child Abuse Hamilton County is a Chartered Prevention Council of Prevent Child Abuse Indiana. In 2008, a rekindling in the community caught on to bring forth the current Hamilton County chapter. The growing efforts the council bring the message of prevention to citizens of Hamilton County, Indiana. We are an all-volunteer group, and our members come from all parts of the community. 

Council Meetings

We meet on the third Friday of the month at 8 AM. 

Activities & Event Details:

Here are some of our past activities:
 
  • “Pinwheels for Prevention” gathering and pinwheel display at the Noblesville square promoting awareness
  • Distribution of materials at county events including Spring Fling (a free family festival by Children’s Bureau), Mardi Gras (family arts parade by AYS Inc.), and Child Abuse prevention conference (by Child Care Answers)
  • Sponsorships of Darkness to Light workshop and Shaken Infant Syndrome
