The Annual Forum on Child Abuse and Neglect has been taking place at IU Northwest since 1991. The forum is a daylong event featuring speakers and workshops on child abuse and neglect topics. This year’s keynote will be Gaelin Elmore. Gaelin brings lived experience as someone who navigated the foster care system as a child and who now advocates for belonging being the focus in every interaction. This forum also provides CEU opportunities for social workers.
