Our Eyes on the Child campaign is a proactive campaign aimed at preventing child drownings and online exploitation. Our goal for this campaign is to reinforce and encourage the idea of active supervision, which has been proven to reduce child fatalities in cases of both water and internet safety.
WATER SAFETY
The Water Watcher Badge is a simple but powerful tool that helps prevent drowning by ensuring active, focused supervision of children in and around water. When worn, it clearly designates which adult is responsible for watching the children at that moment.
CYBER TIPLINE
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children Cyber Tipline is the nation’s centralized reporting system for the online exploitation of children. The public and electronic service providers can make reports of suspected online enticement of children for sexual acts, child sexual molestation, child sexual abuse material, child sex tourism, child sex trafficking, unsolicited obscene materials sent to a child, misleading domain names, and misleading words or digital images on the internet.
