Safe Tots
Time: 1.5 Hours
Safe Tots is an interactive, prevention-focused training designed for professionals and caregivers who support infants and young children. The training centers on real-world safety risks faced by young children and provides participants with practical, developmentally appropriate strategies they can apply immediately in their roles and daily routines.
Through scenario-based discussions, simulations, live polling, and guided reflection, participants explore key safety topics such as:
- Injury prevention and supervision awareness
- Infant and early childhood cues, regulation, and overstimulation
- Environmental safety in homes, daycares, and community settings
- Digital exposure and screen-related considerations for young children
- Water & sun safety prevention fundamentals
Safe Tots emphasizes strength-based education over fear-based messaging, helping adults move beyond simple “rules” and toward meaningful, age-appropriate conversations and protective practices. Participants leave with actionable tools, shareable resources, and increased confidence in their ability to reduce risk and promote safety for young children across home, school, and community environments.
This training is ideal for:
- Educators and early childhood professionals
- Counselors and social service providers
- Administrators and program leaders
- Parents, caregivers, and community partners
