PCAIN 2022 “Breaking the Cycle” Webinar – LGBTQ+

June 3, 2022 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Topic: “LGBTQ+ 101”

Date:   June 3, 2022

Time:  11:30am-1:00pm (EDT)

Description:  We will be discussing the basics of the LGBTQ+ community, the challenges they face, and how our LGBTQ+ youth is impacted every day, in absolutely every facet of their lives. This will be an engaging, interactive presentation that will discuss gender, assigned sex vs. sex identification, inclusive language usage, gender identity, social pressures, bullying, and mental health necessities. How can we be good stewards, caretakers, and advocates for our LGBTQ+ youth? How do we create safe space?  What does it all look like, and how do we have those conversations with our kids and those that are involved in their growth and care?

Please join us. This is your chance to ask all the questions that you’ve been uncomfortable to ask. This is your chance to participate in education and dialogue that will improve life-outcomes for our LGBTQ+ youth, and maybe save some lives. I’m looking forward to seeing you all.
