Nurturing Fathers

FreeNurturing Fathers
Nurturing Fathers is a free, evidence-based, eight-session program designed to support fathers and father figures in building stronger, healthier relationships with their children while connecting with other dads in a supportive, judgment-free environment. Through guided discussions, personal reflection, and interactive workbook activities, participants explore positive parenting strategies, develop nurturing skills, and strengthen their confidence in their role as fathers.
The program provides a safe space for participants to examine how their own childhood experiences may influence their parenting today while learning practical tools to foster healthy family relationships and break cycles of harmful parenting practices.
Throughout the eight sessions, participants explore topics including:
- The roots of fathering and the impact of childhood experiences
- Understanding emotions and practicing healthy self-nurturing
- Building nurturing relationships without violence
- Identifying and overcoming barriers to positive parenting
- Positive discipline, play, and creating meaningful family connections
- Supporting the unique needs of sons and daughters
- Co-parenting, healthy communication, and the role of fatherhood
- Healing, personal growth, and developing a lasting commitment to nurturing
This interactive program emphasizes connection, self-awareness, and practical skill-building, empowering fathers to become the parents they aspire to be. Participants leave with evidence-based parenting tools, increased confidence, meaningful peer support, and strategies they can apply immediately to strengthen relationships with their children and families.
