The Clark/Floyd Prevent Child Abuse Council has been focused on a “Prevention Before Intervention Campaign for the Last two years. Our new platform for the next 3 years will be “Building a Resilience Community through Trauma Informed Care”.

March 28, Human Trafficking Conference (Partnership with Prevent Child Abuse and Indiana University with Human Trafficking Coalition)

Our main focus at the April Awareness Event will be to show the Resilience Film and then talk about how to start building community work groups that will focus on trauma and resilience.

On June 8th, we will have a 5K Run for youth that promotes Prevention and mental health awareness.

July 27th from 9:00 am – 2pm, we will participate in the largest Community Health Fair.

October 5, we will provide resources, prizes and educational material to the community at the Harvest Homecoming Kids Tent and Parade. If you want to walk for Prevention.

September 19, Prevention Health Fair with Prevention Agencies in the Clark/Floyd Communities.


Clark-Floyd CAP Council has been a PCAIN Chartered Council since 1996.


Our council meets the 2nd Monday of every month at the Green Valley Elementary School at 2230 Green Valley Road, in New Albany at Noon.
