FreeSafe Tots Training
This interactive, prevention-focused training is designed for community members, professionals, and nonprofit organizations who work with children, youth, and families. The session centers on building awareness, dispelling common myths, and strengthening participants’ ability to recognize, prevent, and respond to child safety within their communities.
- This presentation touches on a variety of safety issues, including SIS/Abusive Head Trauma, the Safe Haven Law, Water Safety and Safe Sleep practices. We will also touch on Firearm Safety and knowing your partner/caregiver.
This training emphasizes awareness, prevention, and informed response rather than fear-based messaging. Participants will gain practical tools to better identify risk factors, and understand their role in prevention and reporting.
Participants will leave with clear, actionable knowledge and resources that can be applied immediately in professional, volunteer, and community-based roles.
